What band are admin staff in imaging departments and in RFH,Northmid in Edmonton and st Ann's hospital

We're waiting for Quildonc to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear NHS Improvement,

My colleagues and I currently requested to have our banding reassessed, we are currently a band 2 and we believe we should be a band 3. We are appealing and we would like some information to help with our appeal. There are other departments in the trust where the admin/ receptionist staff are band 3. We believe that all admin staff should be the same right across the board and this is what we are fighting for. Would you be able so provide information.

Dear Ms Quildon

 

Thank you for your email dated 13 May which we will be treating as an
enquiry as opposed to a request for information under the Freedom of
Information Act.

 

We are responsible for overseeing foundation trusts and NHS trusts, as
well as independent providers that provide NHS-funded care. We offer the
support these providers need to give patients consistently safe, high
quality, compassionate care within local health systems that are
financially sustainable. However, we do not have a role in the grading or
pay system for NHS staff nor do we collect this information from
providers.

 

As you may be aware, the Agenda for Change system allocates posts to set
pay bands, using the Job Evaluation Scheme, and, as such, the [1]NHS Job
evaluation handbook may be of help. In addition and if you have not
already done so you may, you may wish to consider your HR team or local
trade union representative.
