Dear Ministry of Defence,
I have 4 brief questions on departmental procedures.
Does MOD employ staff with Legal experience and/or Legally qualified to reply to requests in its freedom of information departments?
Are your members of staff within the FOI depts recorded to each response that is sent out? in order that if a subpoena was sent from a High Court, they would be traceable and accountable for any response? As we only see named personnel on internal review responses!
What are MOD's instructions/ protocol to its staff in reference to transparency, honesty, simply retrieving requested data and putting it in the public domain?
Is it MOD FOI policy to legally scrutinise data before putting out in to the public domain?
Dear Mr Roberts,
Please see attached response to your request for information

Dear CIO-FOI (MULTIUSER),
Thankyou for your reply,
1, How many staff work in MOD foi (including legals) at what cost to the taxpayer? Total of combined salaries
2, Same question as above without legal staff salaries.
If you need more time to answer, i'm happy for you to treat as a new request and take up to 20 days.
