1. WG Grant Funding was provided to a number of Foodbanks operating within
Conwy County Borough in December/January 2023, including Conwy Foodbank
which was awarded £15,000, was this money paid into the account of the
Conwy Foodbank or the Sanctuary Trust?

Conwy Foodbank is run by Sanctuary Trust, the payment was made to
Sanctuary Trust.

provided to the Foodbanks across Conwy?

Please see reply to Question 1.

3. What was the process for the Benefits Manager and Funding Development
Manager awarding the amounts of funding to the different foodbanks?

Conwy County Borough Council keeps a list of Foodbanks/Foodshares
operating within Conwy County Borough. This list is shared within the

food poverty.  The Foodbank/Foodshares on the list are contacted when
funding is available and invited to apply for funding.

4. What criteria did the Benefits Manager and Funding Development Manager
use to make decisions on the amount of money each Foodbank received?

Alongside other relevant information, the application process gathers
details about the foodbank use over a given period of time.  This
information is used as part of the decision process.
