Response for FOI Request 7386

Thank you for your requests dated 12th July 2011.

This letter is to advise you that your request for information will not be
processed.

This is because the cost of providing the information you have requested
will exceed the "appropriate limit" as stated in the Freedom of
Information and Data Protection (Fees and Appropriate Limit) Regulations
2004.

The request requires an individual check of each individual employee who
lives in Westminster on the Housing Benefit data base (Approximately 960
employee's live in the city) . This will require a search by name and
address to locate any record. I have estimated that on average each
individual check would take on average 5 minutes. The limit as referred to
above is set at 18 hours at £25 an hour. In order to provide you with
the information it would require in the region of 80 hours work.

In accordance with the Freedom of Information Act 2000, Section 17 this
letter acts as a Refusal Notice.

You have the right of appeal against this decision. If you wish to appeal
please set out in writing your grounds of appeal and send to:
