The request was successful.

Dear Aberdeen City Council,

It appears the Wellington Brae trees are under Tree Protection Orders. When they did they become TPO. Have they been TPO in the past ?

Were the trees TPO previously, in the 1960's and 1990's ?

Were the owners of the trees informed of the TPO.?

Yours faithfully,

Were the trees TPO  previously, in the 1960's and 1990's ?

Were the owners of the trees informed of the TPO.?

There are 2 tree preservation orders at Wellington Brae.

TPO No. 82

TPO 82 affects land on the north side of Wellington Brae. The provisional
TPO No. 82 was made on 12/08/1994 with the TPO being confirmed at Council
committee on 7/10/1994. TPO 82 was registered on the General Register of
Sasines on 14/10/1994. The owner of the land was served with a copy of the
provisional and confirmed order.

TPO No. 82A

TPO 82A affects land on the south side of Wellington Brae. The provisional
TPO No. 82A was made on 16/01/1995 with the TPO being confirmed at Council

a copy of the provisional and confirmed order.

There is nothing on file to suggest there were any TPOs in the 1960s at
Wellington Brae. You may wish to check with Aberdeen City and Shire
Archives to see if they hold any information.
