Wellinborough BDC post

J Newman made this Freedom of Information request to Department for Work and Pensions

The request was successful.

From: J Newman

24 February 2012

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

Post for your Wellingborough BDC is first handled by an "Opening
Centre".

1) Is it within the confines of the BDC itself, if not, how many
miles away?

2) Who runs it day to day and by whom are the staff employed?

If it is remote from the BDC or is run/staffed by anyone other than
DWP employees:

3) What end to end confidentiality & security arrangements are in
place?

4) To what standards must they operate?

5) How do you guarantee these standards are maintained?

6) Do you maintain an "incident log" where
issues/breaches/compromises etc. of any kind are routinely
recorded?

Yours faithfully,

J Newman

Dear DWP Adelphi Freedom-of-Information-Request,

I would very much like to thank whoever composed this reply - it is
concise, to the point and most importantly, directly answers the
questions and to that extent is probably a "first".

Any chance the same person could deal with any other requests I
might raise?

Yours sincerely,

J Newman
