Well damage at West Newton A, East Yorkshire

Currently waiting for a response from Health and Safety Executive, they must respond promptly and normally no later than (details).

Dear Health and Safety Executive,

At 22:14 on the 9th of July 2018, an earthquake occurred near Wood Farm in Sunk Island, East Yorkshire. Grid Reference 53.648 -0.055 (Source: British Geological Survey).

The location is just 14 miles from the well pad known as West Newton A, East Yorkshire, operated by Rathlin Energy.

Please could HSE tell me

1. Are you (the HSE) and/or Rathlin Energy going to take action to inspect the well at the site known as West Newton A to assess and determine well damage?
Yes or No.

2. Details of any inspections to be undertaken by you (the HSE) and/ or Rathlin, including date /time period and all/any details of the assessment procedure.

3. Have you (the HSE) and/or Rathlin Energy already taken action to inspect the well at the site known as West Newton A in East Yorkshire to assess and determine well damage?
Yes or No.

4. Any/All details of any actions to assess and determine well damage that you (the HSE) and/or Rathlin Energy have already undertaken at the site known as West Newton A and all/any conclusions/findings.
