Welfare Rights Advisers in post

Waiting for an internal review by Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust of their handling of this request.

Dear Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust,

Most of the Trust services are divided across borough lines in the way they are funded. Please advise on the following for both Camden and Islington boroughs:

How many Welfare Rights posts are there in post for each borough?
Are they full time or part time?
Who funds the posts?
When does this funding end?
Is there a bank of Advisers that are used when people are on long term leave or when there are planned absences such as sabbaticals?
When there is no Adviser in post or on long term leave where are people referred to for help ?
When there is no Adviser in post how do people on the wards get the advise they need?
Who is the person responsible for monitoring this ( or what is the role called)

Many thanks

Yours faithfully,

maya soldado

Dear Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust's handling of my FOI request 'Welfare Rights Advisers in post'.

I am not sure if you don't understand the question or if you've decided not to answer. Your response is somewhat confusing to be honest

The question refers to welfare rights officers employed and attached within the Trust. These are funded and/ or seconded posts attached to teams, services and day facilities. Some are funded. Some are provision provided as outreach by other agencies. Patients are asked if they need a referral at assessment and appointment. So how can you not hold the information?

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/w...

Yours faithfully,

maya soldado
