East Cambridgeshire District Council
I am responding to your Freedom of Information request below.
Collection of WEEE is carried out as part of our general waste collection and cleansing contract with Veolia Environmental Services, although we don't carry out segregated collections of WEEE. This contract is due to end on 31st March 2015, although it is extendable for up to a further 4 years by mutual agreement.
Disposal is the responsibility of Cambridgeshire County Council. I'm afraid I have no details of these arrangements but assume that you have already contacted them and that they will respond directly to you.
We have no current plans to tender for provision of segregated WEEE collection services.
