Dear Mr Beale, 
 
Thank you for your request for information on the Constabulary website to help assist with a study in 
to cost effectiveness of public sector websites.  You have specifically requested the following. 
 
a)  design and development costs to launch (single figure) 
b)  ongoing hosting, licensing and maintenance costs (per year or other suitable measure) 
c)  Brief overview of server technologies used (e.g. Microsoft .NET,Apache/PHP, etc.) 
 
 
I am able to confirm that your request has been processed under the terms of the Freedom of 
Information Act 2000 (FOI) and following enquiries within the Constabulary, I have been advised that 
the internet is being developed in partnership with Bedfordshire Police. There is a three year contract 
value £173,000. 
 
It is not possible to identify the specific areas within the contract that would answer questions a and b. 
 
With regards to question c we are using asp.net
