It was developed in house.

Goss Content Management System (CMS).

Q3. Is your corporate website managed internally or externally?
Internally, by Colchester Borough Homes (CBH) Office Support Team.

Q4. Do you host your corporate website internally or externally? If externally, do you use a cloud solution or via a third party hosting provider and who are they?
Hosted externally by uk2.net

Q5. Do you have an offline development platform for your website? If so, how does this work?
Yes: The Goss CMS is deployed internally on our network.

Q6. Does your corporate website offer interactive services where tenants are able to log in? If so, what services are tenants able to use when registered and logged in?
Yes – Tenants can book repairs, pay bills and report other concerns. The CBH site also links to the CBC site accessing other online services including Council Tax, Benefits and pest control.

Q7. Do these services connect to any other applications?
No.

Q8. Who is responsible for backup and recovery of your corporate website?
Goss.

Q9. Do you have 24/7 support for your corporate website?
No.

Q10. How often is your corporate website backed up?
Approximately every two hours.

Q11. What is the recovery process for your corporate website?
Managed by Goss. All files backed up on our internal server.

Q12. What is your agreed timescale for recovery time of your corporate website?
Same day.
