Hi Phil,

It looks as though you might have forgotten to attach the document.

Your colleague Steven suggested this might be a problem with the What Do They Know website, but as the little 'Do you need to print this?' tree icon is showing as attached I assume attachments work fine!

Could you please re-send your response, or, better, simply paste the response as plain text into an email?

Yours faithfully,

Kyle Beale

Dear Staffordshire Police,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Staffordshire Police's handling of my FOI request 'Website development costs' as two of my three simple questions have been refused.

I note that the contractor responsible for your website said 'this would give our competitors direct pricing information, which in turn may damage our commercial situation', but surely the release of this information would show the people of Staffordshire how their taxes are being spent and their competitors what great value they've provided?

Many other forces have been asked the same question, and many have responded with clear, concise answers - something I expected of Staffordshire too. You can see the list of requests here:

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address:
