WCC investigations into unlawful short term sub letting

The request was successful.

Dear Westminster City Council,

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-49...

Within the BBC article linked above it is reported that “Westminster Council said it was currently investigating at least 1,500 properties in the borough for short-term letting“.

Can you please advise:

- what percentage of these properties under investigation are council leasehold and what percentage are council tenancies?

- how many full time equivalent council staff are currently employed on this enforcement activity?

- how many cases have there been over the last 12 months where council leaseholders or tenants have been sanctioned for short term letting?

Yours faithfully,

John Smith

Westminster City Council
