Dear Department of Health and Social Care,

For the attention of your Water Fluoridation Section, OHID.

Regarding the Water Fluoridation Programme for England, would you please let me see :

1. The expenditure for F/Y 2022-2023 incurred by each fluoridating local authority and

2. Costs broken down for F/Y 2022-2023 for the different types of water fluoridation expenditure.

Yours faithfully,

Joy Warren

Dear Department of Health and Social Care,

Thank you for your reply. Instead of a breakdown of revenue costs for each fluoridating local authority would you please send me the total revenue cost for F/Y 2022-2023.

Dear Department of Health and Social Care,

Thank you for your reply telling me that you have no idea how much the current Water Fluoridation revenue costs are for the areas which are currently fluoridated. I find this disturbing because if you don't know how much the current revenue costs are how can your colleagues in OHID possibly be able to produce a cost-"benefit" analysis for the proposed new Water Fluoridation programmes in the North-East of England.

It is also disturbing that you are already seven months into this financial year and haven't yet determined costs but are still determined to continue with Water Fluoridation.

Please relay my concerns to OHID. I will not be asking for an internal review: that would be a waste of time. I will return to this issue in a few months time.

Yours faithfully,

Joy Warren
