Waste collection calendar
Dear Ceredigion County Council information officer,
I am writing to request, under the Freedom of Information Act:
1. The cost of printing the 2013 Waste & Recycling collection calendars
2. The cost of printing the addressed cover sheet
3. The cost of the plastic packaging
If you are unable to break down the cost of individual items, I would be grateful for a total costing.
4. Whether any alternative printing and/or packaging cost estimates were sourced
5. The cost of posting/delivering said calendars
6. Any additional costs incurred in this process
7. How many calendars were printed
I would be most grateful if you could reply to confirm you have received my request and reply as each of my requests becomes known to you so as to speed up my enquiry.

Freedom of Information Request regarding Waste Collection Calendars
The cost of designing and printing the 2013 Waste Collection Calendars for Ceredigion County Council was £3,708.47 The cost for postage and packing of the calendars to 37,930 properties within the County was £16,887.00, giving a total expenditure of £20,595.47, approximately 54p per property.
The Waste Management Section did approach other companies to produce the calendars but the company we used had been used the previous year and were able to produce and dispatch the calendars within the given timescales.
