The request was successful.

Dear Northampton Borough Council,
Under the Freedom of information act can you explain in detail how the waste collected from my front door is kept segregated from the moment I leave out my green, blue, brown crates and black or brown wheelie bins. i have seen the bin men collect in Wootton and put all the recycling into one van which makes me ask the following questions for NN4 area
How long is the contract with this waste supplier in contract until?
Approximate or range of value of the waste collection contract for Northampton Borough area only
how long is the council planning on using the current food waste collection for?
What other food waste solutions were explored and why were they ruled out.
What is the logic behind residents bins expected to be recycled in different containers even though they are put in one bin van when collected?
Why don't you offer one wheelie bin for recycling?
Are residents generally happy with this waste collection service?
How many complaints about the waste collection have you had in the last 12 months?

Yours faithfully,
James Simm
