Thank you for your information request regarding funding provided to the
Washington Way publication.

 

Question:

Please advise, by year, how much funding Sunderland City Council have
provided (regardless whether via grants, advertising or sponsorship) to
the Washington Way publication.

 

Answer:

 

Funding has been awarded by the Washington Area Committee, as part of
their Area Committee Communications Programme to contribute towards a
pre-existing, well used and valued, residents newsletter - 'The Washington
Way'.  

 

Payments are made to Clubhouse Media Ltd in relation to the publishing of
the Washington Way. Below are the amounts paid to date:

 

20/21 - £7.500

21/22 - £8,166.64 paid to date

 

I hope this is satisfactory. If, however, you are dissatisfied with our
response to your request for information, you can ask for the decision to
be reviewed in reply to this letter. The review will be removed from the
service area and coordinated by the Council's Information Governance
Officer. A request for review should be directed, by email to
