Dear Ministry of Defence,

You stated before that pertusis was used as an adjuvant for the Anthrax in the Gulf War 1991 and it helped speed up the process.

Q1. Was Pertusis then used alongside the Anthrax on our troops prior to, during or post Operation Telic and Operation Herrick?

Q2 If Pertusis was not administered to our troops in these operations. Why Not?

Thankyou for your response, where you stated that there is data from at least 1993, that Pertusis was NOT used simultaneously with Anthrax on our troops.

Please provide the information/data on which troops and their location/s were exposed to Pertusis and Anthrax combination post Gulf War 1991 to the time in 1993 ( the data which allowed MOD to state the above)
