Subject: FOI/PH&A/1807 - FOI Acknowledgement

Dear Ms Paszkowska

Freedom of Information Request – FOI/PH&A/1807 x 6 requests have been
combined into one.

Thank you for your 6 requests received on 16 November 2020 regarding
membership details of Warrington Safeguarding Boards, sub-groups and
Forums.

Your request has been logged and we are hoping to provide a response you
within the statutory 20 working days.

NB: In light of the unprecedented challenges we are all facing during the
Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic we feel it important and necessary to
highlight that our primary objectives will to be to keep people safe
during what is clearly going to be a period of significant pressure on the
health and social care services.  As the situation with the outbreak
progresses, resources continue to be diverted away from usual information
governance/compliance tasks in order to prioritise delivery of services to
our most vulnerable residents.  Despite this it is clear that services in
some areas, such as support services provided to vulnerable people in
their homes or care settings will be disrupted for the foreseeable future.

We therefore acknowledge that our response to Freedom of Information
Requests (FOIs), Environmental Information Requests (EIRs) and Subject
Access Requests (SARs) will take longer to complete.  The ICO have advised
that although they are unable to extend statutory timescales, they will
advise people that they may experience understandable delays when making
FOIs, EIRs or SARs during the COVID-19 pandemic.  Further, they have
advised that it’s about being proportionate - if something feels excessive
from the public’s point of view, then it probably is.

With the above in mind although you are under no obligation to do so we
would ask you to consider carefully if you feel the information you have
requested is essential. If you consider your request to be urgent and
essential we would be obliged if you could respond to this email providing
an explanation as to why so that the prioritisation of your request
against the other competing obligations of the Council can be given
careful consideration. While acknowledging that the statutory right to
information remains unchanged we would ask that any other request be
withdrawn in the current circumstances. Thank you in anticipation of your
co-operation.

To find out further information about this please see our website:

Please accept our sincere apologies for this and any inconvenience this
may cause you.

Thank you in anticipation of your co-operation and patience.

Please use this reference number above in any further correspondence
relating to your request.

Kind regards
