War pensions to personnel that did not enter gulf region
Dear Service Personnel and Veterans Agency,
I have put a question to MOD, however they have informed me the information is not available to them , however Veterans Agency will have information. So thankyou in advance!
It is a very simple request
We have been led to believe that War Pension/compensation have been issued to person/s, when the only exposure they were exposed to was the multiple vaccinations prior to and during the Gulf War 1990/91?
These personnel did not enter Saudi Arabia, Iraq or Kuwait.
In essence have been compensated and rightly so for this exposure.
Could you confirm either way if our information is correct.
We have witheld the personnel information due to data protection.
I hope this request finds you in good health,
I understand that you will respond to my request within the 20 working days after you receive this letter. I would be grateful if you could confirm in writing that you have received this request.
Regards
gavin roberts

Dear Service Personnel and Veterans Agency,
Thankyou for your reply and the choose of two answers, could we please have the answer to both of the answers offered!
Could MOD confirm if they have ever apologised to Gulf War Veterans and for that matter any veterans/serving troops for administering multiple vaccines (5 plus) in short periods of time (ie weeks, days, hours, minutes ,simultaneously)?
Or Simply if the MOD have apologised privately or publicly to Veterans for anything to Gulf War Veterans?
Can we agree that multiple vaccines (5 +) within weeks administered to troops prior and during Gulf War (including the untested combinations) are not being used on our troops in recent years? Why is this?
Can we agree that since the multiple vaccinations (5+) administration regime stopped , a high percentage of our troops have also stopped getting sick with autoimmune conditions and now these conditions are more in line with civilian population?
If the MOD have not already apologised, DO they now intend to?
Could i also point out that just because the MOD can avoid answering a question if is believed it might cost more than £600 to gather the information to answer it. It is OPTIONAL!
We were all trained in 'No such thing as CAN'T' philosophy. It would be nice that MOD could sing to its own tune and not insult our intelligence.
I think us Veterans a worth a bit more than 600 quid!
Words are cheap. Thanking us for our Service.
We are asking the current MOD administration to be honourable and give us a transparent service with honest answers, that past administrations have not provided!
Please take this as a very good opportunity to not tarnish yourselves with past administrations methods
We look forward to a reply
Yours sincerely,
Gavin Roberts
