Dear Raja Sekhar,
Request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (“the Act”)
Further to your recent request for information held by King’s College London, I am
writing to confirm that the requested information is not specifically held by the university.
Your request
We received your information request on 3 April 2023 and have treated it as a request for
information made under section 1(1) of the Act.
You requested the following information:
I would like to know - for the initial waitlisted applicants to the MSc International Management under the
application cycle of 2019/2020,2021/2022,2021/2022:
1. What was the initial date of their waitlist,
2. The subsequent date of the final decision and
3. The final decision that was made?
Our response
We have interpreted ‘waitlist’ as referring to a systematic admissions process whereby
applicants were told that they were on a waiting list with regards to whether an offer would
be made to them or not.
We have not operated a waitlist for this course in the cycles referenced and so do not hold
this information.
We have, however, instead interpreted the request as asking for the shortest and longest
time elapsed between an application record being created and a decision being made
(offer/no offer) on said application for the years of entry 2020/1, 2021/2 and 2022/3 for the
full-time course MSc International Management. Results have been given in terms of days.
Please see the table below:

request or feel that it has not been properly handled you have the right to complain or
