Hi my dads name is Frank McAleer and he retired last June 2015 I would like to put his name on a waiting list for an allotment, to give him an interest and could you tell me what the procedure is to go about getting him one.

Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 Request
Renfrewshire Council received your request for information on 08 August
2015 in relation to information about obtaining an allotment.
Allotments are not management by the Council within the Renfrewshire area.
The various allotment associations within Renfrewshire manage their own
Allotments and retain their own waiting lists.
The Council does meet with the various Associations and growing grounds
groups through its Renfrewshire Growing Grounds Forum and will get
information/data from the various groups about their waiting list.
However, as stated the retention of the waiting lists rests with the
