Vouchers
Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,
It is my understanding that BBC staff no longer have a bonus scheme where they are paid extra money for good performance, but now they can receive vouchers as a reward on top of their salary.
Please answer the following questions for each of the following five financial years, (17/18) ,(18/19) (19/20), (20/21) and (21/22).
1. What was the value to the recipients of all the vouchers that were distributed by the BBC?
2. What were the companies/firms/organisations that the vouchers could be redeemed against?
3. What was the average value of vouchers paid to staff?
4. What was the largest total value of vouchers received by any one employee?
Note: If you do not yet have the figures for 21/22 yet then please disregard that element of the question and just provide the answers for the other four years.
Yours faithfully,
Matthew Davis

Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of British Broadcasting Corporation's handling of my FOI request 'Vouchers'.
You seem to have willfully decided NOT to give me most of the information I was asking for, so this is an appeal asking that you reassess your response so that I receive a complete answer.
You have provided me with a link to the reports which show the number of people receiving vouchers and the median value of these vouchers. Because you have provided me with the median value and not the mean it is impossible for me to work out exactly the total value of these vouchers that were issued to staff. I would ask you to provide me with the total figure, from which I could work out the mean.
Secondly you appear to have made no attempt to answer the question which asked for the biggest amount in vouchers provided to any one person in each of the years. Please could you answer this point.
Finally, if by the time you receive and consider this appeal you have the data for 21/22 then I would be grateful if you could send me that as well.
Yours faithfully,
Matthew Davis
