FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 - INFORMATION REQUEST

Thank you for your request for information received on 18th May 2022.

As the Freedom of Information Act does not list any person appointed under
the Representation of the People Act 1983. It follows that the Electoral
Registration Officer, Returning Officer or any other person appointed
under the Act are not subject to the provisions of the Freedom of
Information Act.

However, the Electoral Registration Officer is happy to reply to such
enquiries where possible.  On this occasion the number of 16-17 year olds
held in secure accommodation registered to vote in the 2021 Senedd
Election is not held.

We supply this information based on your original request.  If this is not
what you wanted or if you feel we have not fully understood your request,

or others in relation to the processing of your request, copies of your
request, response and any additional correspondence between you and
Caerphilly County Borough Council in relevant to your request may be
shared with them.
