Good morning,

 

Thank you for your information access request received on the 14^th June
where you asked for information about visitor management records.

 

Under Section 1(1)(a) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 we can
confirm that Boston Borough Council does hold the information specified in
your request. The information you have requested is detailed below.

 

Do you currently record details of visitors attending your council
offices?

 

If so…

 

What details do you record? E.g. name, company name, who they’re visiting,
etc.

We record the details on the attached form which was created by Customer
Services.. 

Do you do this electronically or on paper?

We use a paper copy.

How long are the details kept? 

The forms are destroyed at the close of business each day if all badges
are accounted for. If not the form is handed to the customer services
manager to  contact the relevant visitors.

Is your method of visitor recording GDPR compliant?

Yes paper copies

How much per annum does the visitor recording method you use cost the
council?  

We do not hold this record although we recently spent £43.16 on clear
plastic wallets and clips.

Do you currently record details of staff attending your council offices?

No we do not record details.
