c) Cost per person.

The cost to the Council for this three-day visit was £1,544.49. This
equated to the travel costs of three people. The full costs of the visit
are not known as this was met by our hosts Stuttgart. If you divide the
£1,554.49 by the 32 delegates in the party this equates to £48.57 per
delegate. Stuttgart have not shared the cost to them of hosting the visit
with the Council.

d) Whether the cost was self-funded, partly funded via contribution or
entirely from the public purse.

The majority of the costs associated with the visit were met by our hosts
Stuttgart however, the costs of incidental drinks, snack and souvenirs if
not met by Stuttgart were not funded by the Council and personally funded
by the party members. We do not have a breakdown of the personal spend.

e) Please include members of St Helens Youth Council and detail as above.

Please refer to the full delegate list at: b)

f) Please advise if any contribution by St Helens Council was granted to
other groups that attended (eg Young Musicians from St Helens) if so
number in group and amount granted.

Please refer to the response to (b) and (c)

g) Clarification of ‘Stuttgart partners kindly pay for most of St Helens
group’s expenses’ – the total figure Stuttgart paid toward the costs and a
breakdown of how these were distributed between said groups.

The Council took a party of 32 people to Stuttgart as listed at (b) the
only costs incurred by the Council for this visit are detailed at (c) and
equated to £1,544.49. All most all of the costs associated with the visit
were met by our hosts Stuttgart however, the costs of incidental drinks,
snack and souvenirs if not met by Stuttgart were not funded by the Council
and personally funded by the party members.
