Vision Zero
Dear Department for Transport,
Please provide information that you have about the Vision Zero road safety initiative. In particular I'd like your definition of what it is, guidance issued to local authorities on how to implement it, and any documents relating to how it will affect powered two wheeled vehicles (PTWs), eg motorcycles and scooters.
Yours faithfully,
Marcus Houlden
Dear Department for Transport,
Could you give me an update on this request? I allowed extra time because of the pandemic but it's still over 2 weeks late.
Yours faithfully,
Marcus Houlden
Dear Mr Houlden
Thank you for your email of 30 September 2020.
Please accept my apologies for the delay in responding to your request. I
have been advised by the relevant team that the information you seek can
be handled as a business as usual response and will be handled outside the
terms of the Freedom of Information Act given the nature of the subject
matter. However, we are presently experiencing high volumes of
correspondence being received which has unfortunately led to increased
waiting times to provide substantive responses. I have flagged this matter
up to the relevant team and we will endeavour to respond to you as soon as
possible.
Once again, I am very sorry for the delay in responding to you.
Kind regards
Deepak Patel
