FOI (THE PRINCESS ALEXANDRA HOSPITAL NHS TRUST), The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust

Dear Ms Hubble,

I am writing to confirm that the Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust has
now completed its search for the information which you requested on
04/11/2020 and can respond as follows:

We do not electronically record why a patient has any treatments or
investigations whilst under our care, any notes like these may be recorded
in the patients paper notes but this is dependent on the patient and the
circumstances. It would require auditing all of these notes so therefore
in order to complete the response for this request we have estimated that
it would take us above the time allowed in the guidance (FOI act section
12, public bodies can allocate only up to 18 hours of staff time at £25
per hour, up to a maximum of £450) and are therefore unable to provide a
response to this request for this reason.

If you have any queries about this response please do not hesitate to
contact us. Please remember to quote the reference number above in any
future communications.

If you are not happy with the service you have received in relation to
your request and would like to make a complaint or request a review of our
decision you should write to: The Chief Executive, The Princess Alexandra
Hospital NHS Trust, Hamstel Road, Harlow, Essex, CM20 1QX.

If you are not content with the outcome of your complaint you may request
a decision from the Information Commissioner. Generally, the ICO cannot
make a decision unless you have exhausted the complaints procedure
provided by the Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust.

You can contact the ICO at: The Information Commissioners Office, Wycliffe
House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, Sk9 5AF.

Kind regards
