Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,

I am looking for information regarding your broadcasting of many matches from the Woman's World Cup 2019.

What were the average viewing figures for the matches broadcast accross all channels including iplayer?

What was the total cost of broadcasting the Woman's World Cup 2019 across all platforms?

Yours faithfully,

Glenn Faulkner

Dear FOI Enquiries,

As viewing figures are something TV channels seem to brag about I can only assume that the figures were poor, perhaps as poor as the £32million white elephant BBC Scotland.
So without providing an answer you have in fact confirmed what I believed that broadcasting The Women's World Cup was a waste of money for the BBC.

Yours sincerely,

Glenn Faulkner
