Vexatious or unreasonable complaints
Dear Barking and Dagenham Borough Council,
Please can you tell me with regards to your vexatious
correspondence and complaints process
(a) how many times this has been used in the last 5 years
(b) how many times in the last 5 years has it been used broken down
by department.
(c) whether a warning system to advise service users of this
procedure is in place.
(d) whether there is any appeal process
(e) has this been used in the last 5 years against individuals involved in the SEN Tribunal process

Thank you for your e-mail received on 30 August 2011 requesting
information regarding Vexatious or unreasonable complaints.
I have sent your request to Rupert Hay Campbell in Customer Services who
will arrange for the information to be provided to you no later than 27
September 2011.
Whilst it is the Council's policy to provide information wherever
possible, I need to advise you that there are a number of exemptions under
the Freedom of Information Act 2000. These may prevent me from releasing
all or some of the information you have asked for. You will, however be
informed if this is the case and why.
