Dear Freedom of Information,
With regards your response I take it you have no formal procedures as asked in my FoI request.
Could you pse confirm this.
Yours sincerely,
John Topping
Dear John Topping
Thank you for your email. The procedure we have should someone arriving in custody choose to disclose they are a veteran is detailed in the pdf in the original response. I am unclear as to if you are looking for something specific? Could you clarify exactly what information you are seeking so I can direct the request accordingly. Different departments within the force are responsible for different areas of policing and hold different information.
Kind Regards

Dear Freedom of Information,
The question was - “Do you have any procedures in place in your authority that identifies vulnerable veterans who come into contact with the police and if so, what are they”?
If the veterans does not identify himslef as a veteran then you do nothing. Is this correct.
If it is correct then the answer to my FoI request is that you have no procedures in place.
Yours sincerely,
John Topping
Dear Mr Topping
If the person chooses not to confirm that they are a veteran we do not have a procedure that can identify that they are.
Kind Regards
