Reply: West Mercia Police are a precepting authority. This means that they
do not collect Council Tax directly, but instruct a billing authority to
do it on their behalf (eg district and borough councils). A proportion of
the Police's funding comes from council tax, with the majority of funding
being from government grants.

Dear Mrs R Williams,
It is not me and my associates responsibility to chase up companies who are in your opinion purporting incorrect information, if the information they are publicising on police constabularies is incorrect, then do something about it....
Company Check is not the only company to publicise the truth" in my opinion.
Just because you say West Mercia Police is not a private company, that does not mean you are telling the truth, me and my associates would rather trust Company Check.
