Venue Licence Vs Statutory Nuisance
Dear King's Lynn and West Norfolk Borough Council,
What process does the authority take prior to granting a venue with a music licence and or event licence. I would like details of whether site visits take place, are acoustic tests carried out etc.
We are questioning whether the interests of neighbouring properties are ever taken into account. And post issuing, are checks ever made or do you simply wait for enough people to complain about breaches before investigating?
The venue at the heart of these issues is in the heart of Burnham Market, and is causing considerable statutory nuisances to the village.
Yours faithfully, Tom
