Vehicles Registered by Data Zone in Dundee

The request was partially successful.

Dear Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency,

I wish to obtain data similar to that released by the DfT in Table VEH01-22 however at a greater granularity by Scottish Government Data Zone, with additional information to understand the distribution of multi-vehicle households and pollution levels of vehicles in that area.

I believe that the high density urban area will not lead to disclosure , however where this is the case I would accept data at an alternative geography, for example by Postcode Sector or Census Output Area. I am happy to reach agreement on suitable level of geography for each item below and can provide the request detailing the alternative geographies, either postal or statistical.

For the Scottish Government 2011 data zones listed below can you please provide in a machine readable format (such as CSV or ODS);

a. The number of cars and other vehicles registered in each Data Zone (as classified in table VEH0122).
b. The number of addresses with multiple vehicles registered at them by postcode, broken down by number of vehicles, for example 2 vehicle households, 3 vehicle households etc.
c. Vehicles registered in each Data Zone broken down by Euro emission standard, Euro 1 to 6. Should this information not be available CO2 emission bands would be a suitable alternative to understand pollution levels.

Dear David,

Many thanks for your reply. I appreciate the work that has been put into preparing this extract an in particular providing alternative environmental information.

On item 2, multi car households, I'll be able to take some approximations from the data released by the Office of National Statistics.

Yours sincerely,

Mr Kesterton
