Vehicles parked in Fire Access in breach of Fire Safety Order 2005 - Grenfell lessons to be applied

Response to this request is long overdue. Although not legally required to do so, we would have expected One Housing Group to have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear One Housing Group Limited,

Please provide:
1) names and ranks of staff/management responsible for authorising private vehicles (currently a black Kia Niro, registration LR69DMX, previously other private vehicles) to be parked and blocking virtually 24/7 part of the Fire Access of Roden Court (115 Hornsey Lane, London N6 - source: ).

As per FOI to LFB (source: ) this is likely breach of and a criminal offence under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (Fire Safety Order 2005 - FSO2005) which takes into account the legal requirements of Building Regulations Code B.

The Fire Access, which also serves as vehicle access often gets overcrowded with service and delivery vehicles and in the event of an emergency, vehicles parked in the turning facilities block fire access to the east-facing facade.

Please provide:
1) applicable statutory excemptions (if any) permitting private cars to be parked in the fire vehicle access turning facilities of Roden Court (N6) in breach of FSO2005 and Building Regs Code B.
2) reasons
3) envisaged length of stay
4) the type of registered owners (private - else which other)
