Dear Sustainable Services,

Thank you for the information.

Can you confirm if this list includes the refuse collection vehicles used or leased by the council and if not please provide the registration mark, fleet number (if used), make & model and body type of these vehicles?

Yours sincerely,

Liam Bonar

Dear Mr Bonar
Re: Your request for information: 394676
Thank you for your request for information that was received on 30 April
2014 in which you requested:
Can you confirm if this list includes the refuse collection vehicles used
or leased by the council and if not please provide the registration mark,
fleet number (if used), make & model and body type of these vehicles?

Unfortunately, we cannot identify the information you have requested from
the details you have provided.
Please can you clarify the following:
For information, the Council's refuse collection service is contracted out
to Veolia Environmental. Therefore such refuse collection vehicles used
for this service are not provided by the Council.

Furthermore, the Council's cleaning service spot hires refuse collection
vehicles as and when required.
In light of the above, do you require the registration mark, fleet number
(if used), make & model, and body type of the refuse collection vehicles
the council uses? and/or its waste contractor uses? or do you require this
information for the refuse collection vehicles that the council owns or
leases?

If you require the latter, I can confirm that the Council neither owns nor
leases any refuse collection vehicles.
Upon clarification, we will process your request and send a response
within 20 working days.
Please note we will close the request if we do not receive the information
within 60 days of this letter.
If the information you requested contains a reference to a third party
then they may be consulted before a decision is taken on whether or not to
release the information to you.  You will be informed if this is the case.

The Act defines a number of exemptions that may restrict the release of
the requested information.  The information will be assessed and if any of
the exemption categories apply then the information will not be released.
You will be informed if this is the case, including your rights of appeal.

The information will be provided in English, normal font size.  If you
require alternative formats, e.g. other language, audio, large print, etc.
please let us know.
