Vehicle fleet and refuelling information
Dear Merton Borough Council,
Please may you provide me the list of all Merton Borough Council vehicles, as of 27th March 2018.
Can this please include:
- Vehicle make and model
- Fuel usage/capacity
- Type of fuel (petrol, diesel, biofuel)
- Depot/Station
Please can you also provide information about the current means of refuelling these vehicles? ie. Vehicles are driven to the petrol station, fuel is stored at the depot/station etc.
Please provide the details of the individual(s) responsible for organising and managing the fuel needs of the Merton Borough Council fleet.
Please also provide information about total annual cost of refuelling council vehicles and what this equates to per vehicle and per litre of fuel bought.

Response -Please see attached spreadsheet which shows the make , model
fuel type for each of our council owned vehicles..
You asked: Please can you also provide information about the current means
of refuelling these vehicles? ie. Vehicles are driven to the petrol
station, fuel is stored at the depot/station etc.
Response - In reference to our fuel provision , diesel vehicle refuel at
the councils depot which has a diesel fuel bunker. For petrol vehicles
these are refuelled at local BP fuel station.

Response – Our council fleet is managed by our Fleet strategy and
commissioning manager Charles Baker.
