Vector GIS data for school catchment areas in Southampton

Robin Wilson made this Freedom of Information request to Southampton City Council

Automatic anti-spam measures are in place for this older request. Please let us know if a further response is expected or if you are having trouble responding.

The request was successful.

Dear Southampton City Council,

Please could I have vector GIS data of school catchment areas in Southampton, for primary schools, infant schools, junior schools and secondary schools.

That is, the data shown on these maps:

Primary and Infant: https://www.southampton.gov.uk/whereiliv...
Primary and Junior: http://www.southampton.gov.uk/WhereILive...
Secondary: http://www.southampton.gov.uk/WhereILive...

I am aware that the data is available via a WMS server, but that is not provided as vector data, so cannot be used for further analysis in a Geographic Information System. For my purposes, I need data in a vector format such as shapefile, Geopackage or similar.

Yours faithfully,

Robin Wilson
