VAT on digital services in the EU
Dear HM Revenue and Customs,
With regards to the VAT on digital services in the EU which came
into force on 1st Jan 2015.
Please can you tell me the amounts paid in VAT FROM each of the other EU
countries to the UK.
Either Monthly January, February or for the first quarter.
Yours faithfully,
John
Dear John
Thank you for your email dated 10 March 2015.
Businesses file and pay Mini One Stop Shop (MOSS) returns and payments on a quarterly basis. The first payments will be exchanged between Member States in May. As no payments have yet been exchanged, at this point in time no VAT has been paid to other EU countries by HMRC and no VAT has been paid to HMRC by other EU countries.
