Varying of ILR Set(O) application where the main variation is level of service
Dear Home Office,
I would like to understand how you treat variations to ILR Set(O) applications where the primary difference is the level of service.
For example, where an applicant has submitted a standard application and then two months later submits another application with priority service. The other aspects of the applications will, as far as possible, remain the same (although some documents may be need to be updated as they may no longer be in date).
What are the possibilities that such an approach will cause a delay or negative outcome to the applicant (compared to if they continued to wait for the initial standard application to be processed)?
I would also like to understand how you treat the fees for the first application, whether they are refunded, and if so how long they typically take to get refunded.
Yours faithfully,
Mark Livingstone
