Dear Ben

I appreciate it is some time since you heard from us, so I am emailing to
let you know the reason for the delay in providing you with the requested
information.

This is due to closure of the building under COVID-19 where some of the
records needed to provide a response are held and so, at this present
time, the officers who are based in that building are not able to access
these. I am waiting to hear when they are permitted to go back into the
building, and then we will be able to give you some indication as to when
you can expect to receive a response.

Please accept our apologies for this, and thank you for your patience.

Kind regards
