Please could you let me know what the variable speed limit was on the M1 between junction 26 and 25 at 7.31am on 7 June 2018?

Could you also let me know what time the limit was changed to the one showing at 7.31 am?

The information you have requested is information we make available to the
public on a regular basis, therefore your request has been handled under
normal business practices and not in accordance with the Freedom of
Information Act

Please note that speed enforcement is only one of a number of measures
which are used to encourage compliance with speed limits, and the regional
enforcement authority (police) are responsible for speed enforcement.

See attached data as downloaded from Highways England camera equipment
which shows signal set at times and locations on the day of your travel.
The signal set after 7:29:22 is displayed as 40R and this was on until
8:33:13 when it changed to 50R.
