Variable Speed Limit

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Highways Agency should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Highways Agency,

I would like to request information as to why variable speed limit signs were in operation at M6 Toll Gantry 1165B Southbound on 4th August 2013 at 14:37 hours.

What reason did the system see to activate the signs. When were they activated and when were they deactivated.

On that date, August 4th 2013 when had the system that controls variable speed limits last been maintained and what is the recommended maintenance period.

Yours faithfully,

Steve Loftus
