I am writing to enquire under the Freedom of Information act to ascertain the relationship between the University of Glasgow and Valuta (SC273678).

1. What contracts does the University currently have with Valuta?

2. What past contracts has it had.

3. What is the nature of work undertaken by Valuta on the University's behalf.

4. At what dates were Valuta contracted to undertaken works on behalf of the University.

5. What competencies were identified as lacking at the University that made the appointment of Valuta necessary.

6. What is the total to-date expense of these contracts.

7. What is the total predicted expense of these contacts.

8. Does this expense come out of the capital budget.

9. Who is the key internal liaison/project leader(s) with regards to Valuta.

10. Was any tendering process undertaken for this work.

11. How was best-value achieved.

12. Were any conflicts of interest identified between members of the University Management team and employees or directors of Valuta.

Shocking

And yet not even surprising.

Actual expenditure almost £5K above estimate and no tendering. No tendering.

All done on the recommendation of someone called "the convenor of court". No tendering.

One of of the key learning points gleaned from Valuta's militaristic '3 day intervention' appears to be that the

'Project board was not able to understand the messages being presented by the project team and decision making was compromised.'

I wonder if this refers to the University of Glasgow and perhaps even the Student Lifecycle Project. It would be interesting to know if any of the names subsequently redacted out of Project Board minutes were actually Valuta staff.
