Dear Croydon Borough Council,

I'd like to request the following information is released, if held:

- The number of vacant council houses in the borough, as of 23 November 2023.

- Of these, the number of vacant properties which have an energy performance certificate (EPC) rating of C or above.

- The longest period of time in which a currently vacant council house has been without a tenant.

- The current length of the borough's waiting list for social housing, as of 23 November 2022.

Further to your request received on 23/11/2023, I confirm that the Council
has now considered your request under the Freedom of Information Act
2000.  Please accept our apologies for the delay in responding to your
request.

Specifically, you have requested the following information:

I'd like to request the following information is released, if held:

- The number of vacant council houses in the borough, as of 23 November
2023.

We can only give you the current void list.  
As at 23/07/24, there are 225 vacant (void) council properties in the
borough.

- Of these, the number of vacant properties which have an energy
performance certificate (EPC) rating of C or above.

Of these, the number of vacant properties which have an energy performance
certificate (EPC) rating of C or above 
141 properties have an energy performance rating of C or above.

- The longest period of time in which a currently vacant council house has
been without a tenant.

4496 days

- The current length of the borough's waiting list for social housing, as
of 23 November 2022.

At present, there are approximately 7500 households on the Councils
Housing Register.

The Council publishes Access to Information requests and responses on its
