As both requests are for the same information I would be grateful if you

Dear ACCESS I.,

I do not understand your reply of April 6th. I have made only one request, and a subsequent request for an internal review of your response to that request.

Yours sincerely,

Dear ACCESS I.,

The two requests are for Durham University’s responses to different UUK consultations on USS pensions, which overlapped in timescales but were to different deadlines and concerned different matters. To clarify regarding each request:

· The first request https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/d... has been resolved. This concerned to UUK’s consultation on the ‘Joint Expert Panel’s Report and the 2020 Actuarial Valuation’, for which the deadline for the University to respond was 28th February. Durham University’s response to this consultation has subsequently been published here: https://www.dur.ac.uk/resources/hr/Durha...

· The second request https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/u... has NOT been resolved. This request concerned a further consultation by UUK on potential changes to USS contribution rates. It was separate to the consultation above and there was a different deadline of 17th February for the University to respond by. The nature of this separate UUK consultation (and its results) is evident from the email sent by Alistair Jarvis (UUK Chief Executive) to Vice Chancellors which is available here: https://academicfreedom.watch/node/50

I trust this clarifies the distinction between the two requests and the consultations to which they refer. We ask that you further investigate the second request so that it can be resolved appropriately. “

Yours sincerely,

F.W. Pritchard
