Nursery and Reception children work in groups so it is difficult to count
the number of lessons as it is continual work with teachers and teaching
assistants.

The other year groups across the school have been practising for their
Christmas concerts so again a difficult one to answer . The teachers and
teaching assistants work together on these.

The PPA cover staff are a mixture of teachers and HLTAs. Each class
teacher FTE will have half a day a week for this - this may be 1 or 2
lessons depending on the plans for that week.

One half day a 1.3 Teaching assistant covered a class but this is in her
job description. This was one lesson.

Friday the school was closed due to snow.

I'm sorry that this seems complicated, but it is a time of year that
timetables are very flexible.

Dear Southdown Primary School, Buckley,

Please could you supply the following information-

For the week beginning December 4th 2017. The total number of lessons
taught in the school for those five school days.

The total number of lessons where a qualified teacher was not present and
unqualified staff were there during the lesson i.e., cover supervisors,
teaching assistants. Please note this should NOT include any lessons taken
by students on a teacher training course.
