Use of RAF web presence in recruitment strategy

The request was partially successful.

Dear Royal Air Force,

Please can you provide any documents, correspondence or minutes of meetings which contain information, details or discussion regarding the use of the Royal Air Force website, or other online platforms, to generate recruits for the Royal Air Force both in online only campaigns and multi-media advertising campaigns.

Yours faithfully,

Harry Raffal

Dear Royal Air Force,

I would be grateful if you could acknowledge receipt of this request and provide an estimated time of completion.

Harry Raffal

Dear Royal Air Force,

The response to this request is now delayed and I have received no correspondence from you either acknowledging receipt of my request or to explain the cause and nature of any delay you may have encountered. I am therefore requesting an internal review.

Yours faithfully,

Dear Air-DRes Sec-ParliBusiness (MULTIUSER),

Thank you for your reply. To limit the scope of the request I am seeking details which relate to a 'recruitment strategy'. Whilst this is in the title of the request I note I do not use this wording in the request itself and apologise if it was therefore not apparent. As an example if the RAF has maintained an Internet Steering Committee which has discussed how to use the RAF website as a recruitment tool I would be greatly interested in the document.
If this is still too broad to bring it in line with the cost limit then I would ask that you limit the request to produce the documents requested in the original request which relate to the 'Be Part of The Story' (BPotS)campaign.
If the request is limited to the BPotS campaign I would be grateful if you can also indicate the earliest available records still held by the RAF in relation to the RAF's internet presence, relevant to this request or not, in order to shape future requests.
May I close by saying that, whilst I appreciate the suggestions provided on limiting the scope of the request, I do not consider it appropriate that it took over 20 working days, and a request for an internal review, to produce this response.Given your response, and because I have no desire to cause unnecessary work or costs for your department I am willing to withdraw the request for an internal review at this time and trust you will now expedite the resolution of this request. I would be grateful if you acknowledge receipt of this clarification.

Yours sincerely,

Harry Raffal

Dear Air-DRes Sec-ParliBusiness (MULTIUSER),

Thank you for your response to this request. Can you confirm that the only documents relating to the Be Part of the Story recruitment campaign the RAF hold, which are not reasonably accessible elsewhere, is the internal briefing, 8 August 2012, by the directorate of recruitment and training (DRIT) which you have provided at Annex A of your reply on 5 october 2017. If there are any other documents held which relate to the campaign, or which either measured or assessed the campaigns impact I would request you release these.

Yours sincerely,

Harry Raffal
