I refer to your request under the Freedom of Information Act for details of any public relations, communications, media consultancy or lobbying firms hired by North Highland College in the last five years.

I can now advise on behalf of the College that no such firms were engaged in the five years prior to the date of your request. I hope that this information is sufficient for your requirements.

Please note that in terms of the legislation, if you are dissatisfied with this response, you may ask the College to review its handling of your request. If you wish to do this, you should make your request for review to me within 40 working days of receiving this email. Your request must be in permanent form (letter, email etc) and should state that you are asking for a review of this decision, and why you are unhappy with the response you have received. A full response to your request for review will be issued within twenty working days of receiving the request.

Where the outcome of the review fails to resolve the matter to your complete satisfaction, you then have the right to apply to the Scottish Information Commissioner for a decision. You have six months in which to do so following receipt of our review outcome – see www.itspublicknowledge.info/Appeal.
