(Email sent on behalf of Paul Clark, College Secretary)

Dear Mr Mann

Request for Information
Ref No: FOISA 02/21-22 (formerly Request 01 21-22)

Thank you for your email received on 23 08 21 requesting information from
City of Glasgow College.  Please find attached and below the response from
this College.

Some of the detailed information you have requested is exempt under FOISA
section 33 guidelines, as it pertains to contractual arrangements, the
release of which would compromise substantially the competitive position
of individuals and/or companies; i.e. that "disclosure would (or would be
likely to) prejudice substantially the commercial interests of any person
or organisation" (FOISA Section 33(1)(b)).

Please see the table attached for the information pertinent to your
request that we are able to disclose. By way of further detail regarding
the activities undertaken for the College which you have requested, we can
disclose the following: over the past five years, Dram and Halogen have
provided strategic public affairs activity helping to raise awareness of
the positive impact made by the college locally, regionally, nationally,
and internationally. We have collaborated with both these companies
to build positive brand awareness and trusted relationships with key
stakeholders whilst making constructive contributions to the political
policy making process of the tertiary education sector.

If you are dissatisfied with the handling of your request, you have the
right to ask for an internal review. Internal review requests should be
submitted within 40 working days of the date of receipt of the response to
your original letter and should be addressed to: Paul Clark, College
Secretary.

Please remember to quote the reference number above in any future
communications.

If you are not content with the outcome of the internal review, you have
the right to apply directly to the Scottish Information Commissioner for a
decision ([1]www.itspublicknowledge.info/Appeal).

Yours sincerely

PAUL CLARK

College Secretary
